Cast Aluminum

Cast aluminum is poured as a liquid into a mold and cooled into a solid shape. The shape is dependent on what the aluminum is going to be used for. It is very unusual for cast to bend. It typically breaks or cracks.

Common Examples:
Engine Parts
Pots and Pans (without Teflon)
Lawnmower Decks

Tips:
In order to achieve the highest price, the cast aluminum must be clean. This means that the metal does not have steel, rubber, or other attachments.
